Partnership Between AD Digital and ENENSYS Technologies Promises to Support Broadcasters in the Transition to TV 3.0
São Paulo, Brazil – June 11, 2024 — AD Digital and ENENSYS Technologies announced this week a strategic partnership to bring advanced integration solutions to Media and Entertainment companies under the ATSC 3.0 standard, aimed at the NexGen TV network. This collaboration aims to support the transition to TV 3.0, which is set to begin implementation in the country in 2025.
The Brazilian market is about to undergo a significant transformation. TV 3.0, based on the ATSC 3.0 standard, promises to revolutionize the viewer experience by providing superior image and sound quality, as well as interactive and customizable features. This new era of broadcasting supports 4K resolutions, HDR, immersive sound, and functionalities such as advanced emergency alerts and targeted ad insertion, offering a richer and more engaging experience for the audience. The specific technical project is in the testing phase, led by the SBTVD forum, which will soon present the final standards for the industry.
Through this new partnership, AD Digital aims to bring technologies and services that can directly support this new phase of the industry by joining forces with ENENSYS, which has extensive experience in virtualized and innovative products, to offer a hybrid ATSC 3.0 platform for NextGen TV that includes MediaCast ATSC (Data delivery servers) and SmartGate ATSC (transmission gateway), also featuring a broad catalog of modulators, transmitters, and switches/changeovers.
